Business Support
Whether you are established or just starting out, LIAWA can assist you with building your business. We can provide support with marketing, business plans, contracts and legislation, staffing and training development.
Technical Advice
Not quite sure what to do when something goes wrong during a project? Where to source materials and supplies at the best price? Or which contractor is best-suited for your project, who you can rely on to deliver a professional service? LIAWA is on hand to help you.
Dispute Resolution
LIAWA recognises that despite the best efforts during projects, there will be, at times, a breakdown in communication between the client and service provider resulting in conflict. LIAWA can offer general advice (not of a legal nature) and provide a process for the client and contractor to follow to ensure a favourable outcome is achieved. For the best results, a signed contract between both parties, clearly defining the scope of works, fee structure and time frame to complete these works is advised and should be used.
This is a free service for all LIAWA members. A fee is charged to all non-members on an individual basis.
Labour
As part of LIAWA’s commitment to building a healthy industry with the highest level of landscape installs in Western Australia, we have established a program which identifies the best staff available. We work closely with the registered training organisations to build a database of trained and qualified staff. We also work closely with those already in the industry who have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Our regular e-news, ‘WA Hort Weekly’, and the LIAWA website provides an up-to-date list of employment opportunities for those wishing to work in the landscaping industry and a platform for employers to advertise for staff. We connect your business to the best candidates. This is a free service for all LIAWA members and charge a fee to non-members.
