2017 LIAWA SYMPOSIUM

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE DELIVERY OF GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE IN WA
This is an inaugural LIAWA Symposium that was organised by Executive Director, Esther Ngang – in collaboration with Dept of Planning, Lands and Heritage, and New WAterway:
  • to start the conversation that recognises everyone’s roles in the delivery of green infrastructure;
  • to identify solutions to barriers along the supply chain;
  • to facilitate support for investment in urban forestry in WA by recognising risks and costs; and
  • to assess the requirements for long term planning for more tree canopy cover, turfed spaces for active and non-active sports, and improved vegetation health
